Hi my name is Jere, I'm from Finland and I'm currently looking for someone to practice Mandarin Chinese with. I'm a PGT student at The University of Glasgow, but I'm currently living in Edinburgh.
I took Mandarin classes at university for 4 years and then took a break from studying Mandarin for a while. My current level is around HSK 3 or B1, and I'm especially looking to practice my spoken Mandarin. My native language is Finnish, and I've been speaking English ever since i was little so I can help in both of these!
I would prefer having a couple of sessions a week to make practice consistent, either live at a cafe or during a walk, or via video call.
I'm personally into gaming and reading so if you are too that's even better! If you're wanting to learn English (or Finnish if you're into that) and teach Mandarin in exchange just leave a message and let's have a chat!

I would love to meet people from any country; I'm fascinated by the different cultures and languages that people have in different places :) I really enjoy reading, particularly classic books and poetry, as well as cycling too. I also like to do cooking from time to time and I love most forms of art. I've practised drawing and a bit of photography before, but I also love going to galleries to admire the work of masters :)
I would love to practise Spanish, since I'm learning that at the moment and I definitely need to improve! I'm learning ancient Greek as well, but I'd love to learn Italian or another language too.
