Originally from Belgium, but have now lived 14 years in Norway where I speak Norwegian every day.
I would love to practise basic conversation in Chinese. My vocabulary used to be lower intermediate, but that was long ago, and I need to rehearse it all now.
I can help with English, French and Norwegian grammar and vocabulary. I love grammar :) I also know some very efficient ways to learn a language fast.
I love to read classical literature, mostly in English, Norwegian, Dutch or French.
In summer I often on a multiday hiking trip in the forest or mountains.
In Winter I like to make it cosy in the house and read....
I also like to make new clothes sometimes.

I am retired, but have worked all my life in education, including as a teacher of Dutch. I have been studying Japanese in evening classes for 4 years now. I read many novels by Japanese authors and I am a judo teacher. I live in Boom, 15 kilometers from the center of Antwerp. I am married and have two adult children.

I'm Lars. I'm a big philosophy, literature, art and language nerd looking for someone equally obsessed with any of those to exchange letters with to practice my writing. Right now, I'd mainly like to do Italian, but if there's some serious German letter writers out there who are cool with 1500+ words on theoretical subjects I'm hella down. Of course you can write me in Dutch or English. Whichever one you're practicing. If you're just looking for a penpal and want to write in your own language that's even better for me. If you wanna turn it into a book club that's EVEN better for me. In German I'm really into Thomas Mann, Bertold Brecht, Heinrich Böll and all of the philosophers. In Italian I've just started the serious authors and mostly read Italo Calvino. Also reading Giorgio Agamben and will soon start Giacomo Leopardi.
Apart from my obsessions I'm also pretty chill and we can chat on nature, cooking, feelings, fashion, whatever; I'm pretty talkative. If you live in Utrecht or Zeist we can definitely hang out.

my name is Sarah, I am 30 years old and originally from Germany. I have been living in the Netherlands for more than 8 years. During that time, I have lived and worked with Dutch people such that I am now fluent in Dutch (±C1-C2). I am looking for a tandem partner who speaks Spanish, preferably "Mexican" or Latin American Spanish, and would love to meet over coffee once a week in Amsterdam to practice speaking. I can offer Dutch or German in return. My Spanish is currently around A2/B1. I'm fluent in both Dutch and English, and I'm learning Japanese (still a beginner) and I also recently started learning Korean which I'm really enjoying it so far, would love to make some Korean friends. My hobbies are videogames, watching shows, reading and drawing. I love listening to music (like rock and kpop) I also do a little bit of crochet (I make amigurumi).
