I'm a TV and film writer from the Netherlands interested in Taoism, Chinese culture and history. I practice (& teach) Qigong and meditation. I love learning Mandarin, it's really exciting and much more fun than I ever imagined (HSK 1). My English is fluent, many of my students are from the US and Canada, I even did some screenwriting for Hollywood ;-).

I am a very active Dutch pensionado of 74 years old and married to my wife Joke for 53 years and living in The Hague - The Netherlands.
I try to master the fluent speaking of French and would like to speak regularly with someone with French as a native language about anything and everything. His or her age is not important.
Every year I make long bike rides in France, which is good for my condition as well as for my French. I graduated in German language and literature, taught for years and can offer both Dutch and German at any level in exchange.

I am Elbert, currently living in the Netherlands, and I would like to study in Norway next year. Because I have no previous experience with the language, I would like to fully immerse myself in the language. I currently speak Dutch, English, German, Spanish, and a bit of French. My interests are quite broad, such as social life, culture, history, sports, art, and, of course, languages.
