I want to learn more about Japan, and I want to travel and visit it one day.
I would like to talk about a wide range of subjects that may interests you.
- Culture, Places, Movies, Food, TV Shows, Technology
- Just about anything else you can think of!
I can comfortably read hiragana and katakana. I am still in the process of learning kanji and vocabulary. I'm starting to learn grammar to form basic sentences.
I would eventually like to speak Japanese but I am in the very early stages of my journey!
In the meantime I am happy to make a new friend and chat in English and will try to communicate as best I can in Japanese (日本語)!

My name is Maki and I like sushi - maki.
What do I do? I sell my art on Etsy. I want to make more profit from the small business, but haven't got there yet, so I work at a store as a part timer.
I'd like to enjoy conversation more, so I want to practice talking talking talking English with someone or anyone.
Painting is my favorite thing these days. Also, I like hiking, biking and watching movies. love jujutsu as well.

I like being active sometimes. Going for hikes, canoeing, playing ultimate frizbee with friends. but also, like low key activities, like playing guitar and signing.

Retired man living in Canada who was born in the Philippines but have lived most of his life in Canada.
