Hi! My name is Selena, I'm 17 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. I speak Dutch and English, I understand a little bit of German and I'm currently studying Korean. Besides studying Korean, I'm also interested in Japanese and Chinese. I'd like to exchange languages! Besides that, I also love making new friends and getting to know people and their different cultures. Feel free to message me on social media! I hope to talk to you soon!

Pretty soon I want to visit Thailand. Again.
Once I did work there for a couple of months, Thailand stole my heart.
Beautiful culture, beautiful nature, beautiful weather and lovely people.
Now I have the time to go for longer periods towards Thailand.
I'm really interested in cultural and nature; I want to travel freely in Thailand in areas where English is not spoken widely anymore.
So, I really need to learn Thai.
Are there any Thai speaking people here in the Netherlands willing to exchange language with me?
My English is fluently (only native English people complain about my level LOL).
Actually, every time I learn a new language I follow a simple advice from a polyglot well-known (but I forgot the name..):
Don't start with grammar!
Listening, listening
Reading, reading.
(That means a lot of movies, Youtube; FUN!)
Try to speak, make it comfortable with someone you know a little. Me?
!Do not ruin your best friend relationship because YOU want to learn a language and your friend needs to follow! LOL.
And build confidence.
That is the most important thing. For me it is.
Confidence, build it, step by step.
This is how I like to learn languages.
Do you agree or want to try?
LET US START.
"Let's start"
is native English but so much more difficult in the beginning.
Make it easy for yourself. "Let us start" is a kind of International English in my opinion. Without any shortening and hard to pronounce " ' ".
English becomes very complicated with those " ' " and distinguished the British, Americans, Australians in the pronunciation.
"Let us start" should be understood by British, American, Australian and so on.
But in real-life-world, many times, these native English speakers are often not flexible enough to understand anything that is a little beyond there own neighborhood English.
You BETTER really need a real teacher and pay for the lessons.
Or.
Take my approach. For free!
So, come on and have some fun with a NOT native English speaker to learn English.
Because I DO understand how difficult it is to learn languages.
Native teachers do not, many times.
There are native English speaker who are good teachers, certainly.
They have bilingual parents or did travel a lot.
But how do you find them?
So find your own way.
You know now.
This is the opportunity I offer to you.
Because positive responses are so much more encouraging.
Learn with me! Together.
Exchange language, exchange culture.
Exchange FUN, enjoyable life.
LET US START.
