Hi, I am a biology student in London eager to practise my Japanese. My native tongue is Chinese but I also speak fluent English and have been living in the UK for almost 10 years now. I like reading fictions in general (English/Chinese/Japanese). However, when it comes to speaking I often forget which expression to use. Besides reading, I also like appreciating the nature (going to parks and seeing plants), drawing (simple figures such as cute animals and chibi characters), and listening to musicals (Les Miserables, Hamilton, etc). I am a visiting researcher in Edinburgh, and I would like to improve my English. I have noticed that people here in Edinburgh speak various forms of English, so I want to better understand them and make myself understood. Additionally, I have studied Spanish and Chinese by listening to Japanese educational radio programs for a few years, but I have rarely used them.
