Hello! I’m Marcie, a native Chinese (Mandarin) English PhD student in London looking for a conversation partner to wander around exploring the lesser trodden parts of the city (especially parks, historically interesting urban spaces). I’ve been speaking English for a long time so I have no problem at all communicating (about anything), and on the Mandarin side I’m a patient teacher; I can meet you at your level. In my spare time I’m into reading, art (making and seeing) and (increasingly) cooking. I also speak some Japanese and am interested in learning other European languages (but you'd have to teach me from scratch). I’m based in West London (near Hampstead) so it would be great to meet a conversation partner around there but I’m also in the centre fairly regularly for study. Looking forward to hearing from you!
