Hello to you. I'm Heather, from the US.
About me: A poet and singer-songwriter who lives a pretty natural life. I enjoy the simple things. Piano lessons, singing, fitness and walking/jogging. Eating clean is important to me, and I'd like to learn more about growing fruits and vegetables of my own someday. I am here because I am wanting to study Hungarian and Hebrew.
What can I teach you? Well, I'm glad you asked. I studied English, Creative Writing in college. I'm a published writer, and I am certified to instruct English at the college level. So, even if you are an advanced speaker, I could help you improve at the syntax level. Or, if you're just wanting to improve your conversation, that's fine also. I'm flexible. But please know that at least at the beginning, my understanding of Hebrew/Hungarian is going to be basic (think alphabet basic). I have purchased some textbooks, so I will also be using that material in addition to our meetings. And I can suggest some textbooks for you in your efforts, so just let me know.
Regarding Hungarian: I'm a complete beginner; my family were Hungarian Jews, and I've always wanted to go to Hungary, so I am also happy to hear about the people and culture if you are knowledgeable and wish to teach me.
With respect to learning Hebrew: I'm also a beginner but I'm somewhat familiar with the language because I've spent time in Israel. I boldly support the land of Israel! I'm not really Jewish in religion, but I am happy to learn about the religion and culture also, if you desire to teach me.
