Hello, my name is Randi. I'm a Canadian living in Rotorua, New Zealand.

I've always wanted to learn Japanese, as it's a beautiful language. It would also help me appreciate the art, media, and culture of Japan better; I really enjoy reading manga, watching anime, and learning about Japanese history.

I have a basic understanding of hirigana, and know a few phrases, but otherwise I am a total beginner who is seeking someone to practice with.

I would love to form a genuine friendship with my language exchange partner, and encourage anyone to message me if they're seeking practice with English.

I'm a bookseller by trade. Aside from reading manga, and watching anime, I also write, draw, Photoshop, read books, and swim in my spare time.
