* I'm presently working 10+ hours per day and sadly have no time for language studies. I plan to resume studies after the summer, but will mostly be inactive until then.

I plan to teach in Japan within a year and want to be reasonably proficient in the language before I move to work. I can read the occasional novel in Japanese with the help of a kanji dictionary and understand watch Japanese television, film, anime, etc. without subtitles. Given the option, I play most of my video games in Japanese as well, though this can definitely slow my performance in text-heavy role-playing games. I've taught English for several years, both as a hobby and professionally.

こんにちは。ウィルともします。数年前から日本語を学ぶことがしていますが、なかなか自然な日本語会話とできる練習相手を見つかれませんでした。独習だけでここまでついたけれど、そのせいで自分の腕はあまり確かめなくて自信はすくないです。ラノベやテレビが読める・字幕なしで見える程度です。話されている時は大抵変化できるながら、自分から話すごとが極めて難しい。自信がないのかただの人見知りのような危惧か、どちら原因か分かれないけれど...

原因はともかく、会話相手が欲しいです。その代わり、英語を教えます。そのことには何年の体験があります。私の本職とも言えます。（まあ、実際そうですから。）
