I’m a native Canadian English speaker living near Toronto with a passion for learning languages.
我是加拿大的英语母语者，住在多伦多附近，并且对学习语言充满热情。
I’ve studied French, Japanese, and Spanish, and now I’m focused on learning Standard Mandarin.
我曾学习法语、日语和西班牙语，现在专注于学习标准普通话。
My goal is to connect with a language exchange partner for a daily 30-minute call, split into 15 minutes of Mandarin practice and 15 minutes of English practice.
我的目标是找到一个语言交换伙伴，每天进行30分钟的通话，分为15分钟的中文练习和15分钟的英文练习。
We’ll focus on basic sentences and conversation patterns.

I can help you with English pronunciation and fluency, and I’m eager for feedback on my Mandarin tones and pronunciation.

I currently know approximately 300 to 400 Hanzi characters and am working on improving my speaking skills.
目前我认识大约300到400个汉字，正在努力提高我的口语能力。

Hello there! My name is Javid, and I'm 25. After practicing English for more than 9 years now, I'm finally considered quite efficient (and 8.0 IELTS lol). As a next step, it would be cool to learn Russian/French, if we add the fact that I am already familiar with them :) When it comes to my hobbies, I absolutely love watching movies/TV Series, hanging out with my friends at the weekends, and music is a big part of my life as well (I'm lisztomaniac and metalhead).. As a result of intense involvement in film industry (lol), I have already watched 140+ TV series and 1500+ movies so far.
