My name is Kenichi Osawa. Please call me kenchi! He is Japanese. I live in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. We're looking for someone who's willing to do a study group once a month via TV phone (Google Meet or ZOOM)!
When I was a student, I learned English and could hardly speak English. I didn't like the English I studied when I was a student (mainly grammar and reading aloud), but I love English itself.
I don't have much time to spend studying English, but as much as possible, I try not to make days when I don't see or hear English by watching English learning courses on TV. (Recently, I'm addicted to the English learning app "Duolingo" on my smartphone and am enjoying studying English, but I'm looking for a partner who wants to try out the results of my study.
)
Before the corona epidemic, I loved asking travelers "where did you come from?"
The first time I used English for foreigners was when I was 9 years old, when I was climbing Mt. Fuji in Japan, American soldiers were climbing in a group, so when I asked "Army?", I answered "Marine Corps". I was very happy that I was able to understand and understand my own English, so when I met a foreigner who came to Japan, I talked with my little speaking English for the first time.
(Once I got a Dutch hitchhiker who can speak English in the car, I think it was dangerous now, but the conversation I had in the car was a very nice experience.)

英語は学生の時、習っただけで、ほとんどしゃべれません。学生の頃の勉強の英語（文法と音読が主体）はきらいでしたが、英語自体は大好きです。
なかなか英語の勉強に費やす時間が無いですができるだけ、TVやラジオの英語学習講座視聴して英語を見聞きしない日を作らないようにしています。（最近、スマートホンの英語学習アプリ「Ｄuolingo」にはまっていて楽しく英語を勉強していますが、勉強の成果を試してみたいパートナー絶賛募集中です。
）
初めて英語を外国の人につかったのが、9歳の頃、日本の富士山登山でアメリカの軍人さんが集団で登山していたので「陸軍？」って聞いたら、「海兵隊」って答えてきて自分の英語が通じて、理解できた経験がとてもうれしかったので、それから日本に来ている外国人に出会ったら、自分の少しのしゃべれる英語とみぶりてぶりで会話してます。
(1度英語がしゃべれるオランダ人のヒッチハイカーを車に乗せたとき、今考えると危ないことしたなって思うのですが、車内で交わした会話はとてもうれしい体験でした。)

I am a native Turkish speaker and an upper-intermediate English learner and I also want to learn more languages as much as I can for my studies and for of course enjoying new languages and our culture differences..
I want to enjoy the funny things about our languages and learn about the sayings. I enjoy talking about movies, books and other interesting things in life. I want to see the world but I still can't attempt it. So if I met you people I think it's gonna be like seeing the world...
btw I'm a little shy with the languages I am learning and tend to not use them so if you could help me with that I'll appreciate it :)

Hi, I am Kura, currently living and working here in Japan. I am working in a Japanese company and wanted to improve my Japanese speaking and writing skills. I don't really have many opportunities to speak with other Japanese aside from my Senpais at work.
I am doing Japanese self-study, learning Japanese mostly on textbooks which i dont really find effective. I really like interacting with people so if you are interested to have a language partner to talk once a week on zoom, I am in. English is my second language.
