Hello! I'm Casi but my friend's call me Pix (short for Pixxie).
I'm Australian and an ISFP. I work as a freelance digital anime art illustrator and animator. I love to draw and create. I draw every single day and cannot live without art.
I have a fond love of anime and manga/manhwa, and telling stories, either through pictures or words - pictures more often than not. I am currently gaining experience by creating fan fiction manga, web comics, and short stories, while I'm in the process of creating my own manga.
I have been trying to learn Japanese, solo, for about a year now, to assist me with my work as an animator but I would also like to be able to converse with potential publishers and editors, as I work toward potentially being a manga author.
I would also like to make friends with native speakers and to speak the language comfortably, when I visit Japan.
I have also started learning Korean. I am currently learning the writing system; characters, vowels, and consonants.
I have been using apps and websites to assist me in my learning, as I do not have access to study locally, so I would love to make friends with some native speakers. I would be happy to help teach you English too.

I never know what to say in these descriptions so here goes..I am an out going, open minded, free thinker, who loves to draw, read, and listen to music. My favorite sports are ice hockey and soccer. I have lived in the US my entire life and have seen a great deal of it. I am interested in learning new languages and making friends in the process. I've had a great interest in English since I was a student.
After graduating, I took a three-month budget trip around America (backpacker).
About half a century has passed since then, but I still admire English.
However, I'm still at an intermediate level. I'd like to somehow reach the advanced level.

I am in my second year of post-graduate program, with the major of Teaching (English), and I will graduate in June next year. I hope to apply for a doctoral program abroad at the end of your graduate program, which requires me to polish my English.
