I also worked as an ESL Teacher in Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan & Korea for 12 years. I speak those 3 languages to varying degrees. I love languages, & studying them; I even want to learn some Zulu ! I also play guitar, (& a bit of harmonica, & shakuhachi). I love travelling through mountainous scenery, gardening & cooking. Born and raised in the United States to parents who immigrated from Osaka, Japan and Hong Kong. I lived in Norther California all my life and attended college and graduate school here in the states. Professionally trained as a primary school educator, I have taught in the public elementary schools for many years working with English language learners.
