My name is Pris, nice to meet you!
I'm here to try to learn some new languages, my initial idea was Russian and Chinese, but as they say "knowledge takes no place" so I'm willing to learn as many languages as my mind and time allow me, while I help you with Spanish or English (I can also speak and write some Portuguese).
My goal is to be able to reach at least a minimum knowledge to hold a small conversation. I know it can be a challenge but I am willing to give my best as a learner and as a "teacher" haha.
I have many hobbies but without a doubt the main ones are travelling and getting to know different places and their respective cultures, then I like "everyday things in life" like reading, cooking, doing sports or spending time with family and friends.

My profession is integrated circuit design in biotechnology where I am responsible for the chip design and project management.
I speak English (native), Mandarin (upper intemediate) and German.
Hobbies are very varied including watersports (scuba diving, windsurfing), mountain biking, hiking, rockclimbing, cooking and watching Netflix foreign dramas.

Hi, I have been trying to learn French for 6 months, but I don’t think I’m progressing as well as I would like.
I set realistic goals. I was aiming to be A2 level by 6months and A2/B1 within a year, but I have not made any improvement.
Instead of just using language apps I have been listing to French radio, reading simple French articles and watching French tv shows to boost my learning. I do a French activity everyday. Despite this, I am still at an A1 level :(
Either French is too difficult for me, or I need a different approach. I do not want to give up. Im hoping a native French speaker would help me with my language journey!
